Surprised that the World’s Premiere Health and Wellness Hub has a page referencing favorite movies? Why? Movies that make us feel good and all of the emotions they trigger can do more for your wellness than just about anything. The human spirit and all that it ’s capable of comes from first connecting to that which we think is possible.

When we’re in touch with our emotions, we’re “alive” and our bodies respond. When we cry or feel sad, we often resolve personal issues as a result discovery and release and are then able to move forward with healing and more constructive behaviors and thoughts. When we laugh, endorphins, neurotransmitters, sex hormones are released throughout our bodies.  Studies have shown that laughter boosts the immune system in variety of ways. Laughter increases the amount of “T” cells we have, which attack viruses, foreign cells, and gamma interferon, a protein that fights diseases. And finally, when we simply feel “good”, our brains release chemicals that similar to sex, leave us feeling more energetic, more optimistic, and more fulfilled.

So curl up, watch a favorite feel good movie, and do a lot more than just be entertained. What’s your favorite “feel good” movie of all time?
